When does anyone look at art anymore as necessary? Everything's run through the Auto-Tune. Voices, words, filtered-images of shape-shifted reality until our lives are a fabrication. And lies morph into truth with a press of a button on our smartphone. How can art be necessary when everything's art and nothing is art? (And art itself stands off to the side—the odd man out—wondering what the Hell happened.)
